Traders and Lots of Quilts

Solo Exhibition held in February 2008, showed a selection of 30 quilts. All proceeds from the evening, and quilts sold throughout the exhibition went to The Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Centre of Greater Manchester.

My sole inspiration to hold this exhibition was to honour the continuing bravery and positive spirit of a very special friend, Sue Hooper, my daughter's mother-in-law.

What an opening evening we had: creative inspiration, plenty of chat, fun and a good glass to wine to toast the great ongoing work of the centre.

Many thanks to family and friends and the many visitors to the gallery for their encouragement.

Special thanks to Sue for her love and friendship, and for being a very special mother-in-law to my daughter!
