Mission Romania

Having been a part of a fellowship which has supported Romania over many years, the opportunity arose for me to visit the country myself this year.

My purpose was to teach the young people a selection of basic sewing and patchwork skills, hopefully enabling some of the older children to use those skills at a future time in their life.

What a privilege it has been!

The enjoyment I received in teaching the children, the friendships I have made, and the creative talent they expressed has enriched me so much, I’m already planning my next trip… with a long term view of many more to come!
