My exhibition, held in February 2008, raised money towards the work of The Genesis Centre of Greater Manchester. Having donated my first Bra quilt, I was then commissioned to make a further two.
The series of quilts are named “Trilogy of Bra quilts… Blooming Gorgeous”. They are now framed and
displayed at the centre. At the official opening of the centre by Princess Anne, I felt very proud to have
created a series of work to bring a smile to both herself and many others.
Many thanks to the Genesis Centre for their commitment to such a valued cause… I am certainly going to
keep on supporting them in whatever creative way I can!
